*Caring for your hat

If you love your hat then you'll want to care for it! Here are our tips on keeping your MATB hat looking it's best:

100% wool wide & medium brims

1. Clean dry dust and dirt off with a soft bristle brush after every wear. Be sure to use the brush in an anticlockwise direction. Try our Bamboo brush

2. Store your hat upside down (resting on the crown) in the cotton dust bag or a hat box.

3. Remove spots with a clean sponge or cloth. Do not over dampen.

4. If your hat gets wet leave it upside down in a warm, dry spot inside out of direct sunlight to ensure it doesn't shrink.

5. if your wool hat looses it's shape or the brim gets bent you can use a steamer or the steam from your iron to reshape it. Please refer to this video for more instructions.

SOL Straw wide brim

1. Clean dust, dirt or sand off your SOL straw after every wear. Shake your hat and hang outside to let the wind blow through the straw.

2. Store your SOL wide brim upside down (resting on the crown) in the cotton dust bag or a hat box.

4. If your hat gets wet leave it upside down in a warm, dry spot inside out of direct sunlight to ensure it doesn't discolour.
